We are pleased to welcome you to our website and would like to thank you for your interest in our company. The protection of your data is of utmost importance to us. With the following privacy stipulations, we would like to inform you for which purposes and to what extent we collect or process your personal data when using our website and how we protect your privacy when you provide us with your data.
(MKN, Maschinenfabrik Kurt Neubauer GmbH & Co. KG, Halberstädter Straße 2a, 38300 Wolfenbüttel, tel.: +49 5331 890, fax: +49 5331 89 280, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org) is the operator of this website and is the responsible entity as specified in Art. 4 Para. 7 GDPR for compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
The personal data of our users is stored and processed in accordance with the relevant regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Teleservices Act (TMG) in their current versions. All personal data is only collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and is not stored for longer than necessary.
Personal data is understood as details of the personal or material circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, date of birth and contact details).
In principle, our website can be used without having to provide personal data. Nevertheless, certain website usage may require you to submit your personal data to us. Therefore, not providing your personal data may limit your use of our website. This affects, for example, registration for seminars or completing contact forms, as well as registration for the customer portal.
As soon as you visit our website, our web servers temporarily store a log file for every access. The following data may be collected and stored until automated deletion: IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted, information on the success of website retrieval, identification data of the browser and operating system used, the website from which access was made and the IP address of your Internet access provider. This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website, system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and the optimisation of the Internet provision (legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit.4 GDPR).
We collect, store and process your personal data (e.g. first name, surname, address, e-mail address, telephone number) if a business relationship, e.g. within the framework of an order or contract, exists or is to be established, as well as for the organisation and modification of a business relationship. Your personal data is also processed if you have submitted it to us for registration on our website and have consented to its further processing. Furthermore, we collect, store and process your personal data if you contact us via the contact form and e-mail, as far as this is necessary for the processing of your enquiries and correspondence.
Orders can be made via the MKN spare parts online shop for MKN retailers and service partners. In principle, orders can only be placed after registration. An existing MKN customer number is required for registration. We use the double opt-in procedure for registration. When ordering, the mandatory details for the execution of the contract are marked separately. All other information is voluntary. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we use the specified data for the purpose of order processing. For this, it may be necessary to transfer payment details to our bank.
We may also use the data you provide to inform you of other interesting products from our portfolio or to send you e-mails with technical information.
In order to prevent unauthorised access by third parties, the ordering process is TLS-encrypted.
Due to commercial and tax regulations, we are obliged to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years.
We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and non-technically necessary cookies. Technically necessary cookies are those that make page usage technically possible. Non-technically necessary cookies are all those used for marketing and analysis purposes. MKN uses Google Analytics and Facebook pixel for this purpose.
So-called cookies are used on our website to store information that serves to facilitate user-friendly handling and make the website provision more effective overall. The data stored in a cookie also eliminates the need to repeatedly fill in forms. The cookies used by us are temporary and are regularly deleted.
For account usage on our website, we especially employ cookies in order to be able to recognise you on a subsequent visit. Otherwise, you would need to log in again for each visit (legitimate interest as per Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR).
You can manage the acceptance of cookies on our website by yourself and block them if necessary. You can also delete previously stored cookies at any time. You can also find out about the possibility of disabling cookies in the settings of your browser. If you do not accept cookies, this may result in restrictions in the use of our websites in some cases. Please note that after deleting your cookies, you may also have to reactivate stored opt-out cookies.
We recommend regularly deleting your cookies and browser history manually.
Our website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform representation of fonts. When called up, the website loads the required web fonts into your browser cache. This is necessary for the correct display of texts and fonts.
To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. Through this, Google learns that our website has been accessed using your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest as per Art. 6, Para 1, lit. f GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
To protect the data you provide against unauthorised access and misuse by third parties, we have taken extensive technical and organisational operational security measures. These measures meet the high legal requirements of national regulations and are always adapted to state-of-the-art legislation.
As a data subject, you have the following rights in accordance with Art. 15 to 22 GDPR.
• Right to information,
• Right of rectification or deletion,
• Right to restriction of processing,
• Right to object to processing,
• Right to data portability.
Any consent you give for the processing of your data may be revoked at any time. To do this, please send an e-mail to email@example.com. Alternatively, you can make this request by post or fax.
In addition, it is possible to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our personal data processing. The data protection supervisory authority responsible for us is Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hanover, Germany.
By using our website, you agree to the use of data as described above. The data privacy statement is dated 01.03.2019 and is currently valid.
